The British Touring Car Championship is one of the best-loved, most illustrious and famous motor racing championships in the world, with only Formula 1 and NASCAR having longer histories as the series celebrated its 60th anniversary last year.

Since its inception, the championship has been renowned for producing competitive, thrilling racing and that’s certainly the case in the modern day, with millions of fans captivated each season as the best touring car drivers in the country battle it out across 30 races.

A sell-out 30 car grid for 2019 features five manufacturer entrants, five former champions and 17 race-winners in the series, with fans able to follow the championship through unprecedented levels of live national free-to-air television coverage on ITV4.

Since the team was founded back in 2012, Team HARD. Racing has evolved into one of the biggest race teams in the UK. Led by Tony Gilham, the Kent based team has become a staple part of the British Touring Car Championship paddock.

2019 will mark the team’s seventh season competing in the BTCC, with a line-up of four Volkswagen CC’s being the top of a huge pyramid of motorsport competition for Team HARD.Racing, who also compete in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Renault UK Clio Cup, VW Racing Cup and more.
